Pilates
Britt of CBC Fitness Consulting teaches Pilates classes and
workshops at West Side Athletic Club in the US Bank Tower. We
keep the eight-week sessions small to allow for the best instructor/student
interaction. To find out when the next session begins, please

CBC Fitness Consulting also offers private and semi-private
Pilates lessons. However, our schedule is currently full. Please

are accepting new clients.
What is Pilates?
Pronounced “Puh-lah-tees,” this body conditioning system of
exercises was developed more than 90 years ago by Joseph H.
Pilates. Focusing on the body’s core, Pilates work coordinates
mind, body and breath through a variety of exercises using mat
work, floor exercises with small props, or using the Pilates
Reformer and other specialized machines.
The practice of Pilates teaches body awareness, conditions the
core and strengthens muscles without straining them. Pilates
relies on pain-free movements. The benefits are numerous:
